Nor-Cal Horticultural Perlite

Horticultural Perlite

#3 Horticultural Perlite
Benefits
- Substrate with uniform absorption
- Chemically inert and free of salts
- 100% Sterile
- Ultralight
- Eliminates abrupt variations of temperatures in roots of plants
Best Use:
Perlite is more porous and tends to allow water to drain more readily. As such, it is a suitable addition to soils utilized with plants that do not require very moist media, such as cactus, or for plants that generally thrive in well-draining soil. Due to perlite’s large surface area, it is a good choice for plants that require levels of high humidity. Evaporation of its surface area creates higher humidity levels.
