Growing a Stronger Community Starts from the Ground Up
Communities are built in many ways. Sometimes it's through education. Sometimes it's through volunteerism. And sometimes it starts with something as simple as healthy soil.
LGM Soil Amendments had the privilege of donating 8 cubic yards of premium potting soil to Cultivating Inclusion Farm in Murrieta, California. While this donation provides the physical foundation for growing fruits, vegetables, flowers, and native plants, its true purpose reaches far beyond agriculture. It represents an investment in people, education, accessibility, and the future of our community with the support of the City of Murrieta.
Why LGM Soil Amendments Gives Back
At LGM Soil Amendments, we believe healthy farm communities and projects begin with healthy soil. Every landscape, garden, orchard, farm, or restoration project depends on a living foundation that supports sustainable growth.
Our mission extends beyond producing high-quality soil amendments and mulch. We are committed to helping organizations that are creating lasting environmental and social impact. Whether supporting educational gardens, community farms, agricultural programs, or environmental restoration efforts, we believe that access to quality soil should never be a barrier to learning or growing.
By donating materials to nonprofit organizations, schools, and community initiatives, we hope to encourage sustainable growing practices, improve food resilience, promote environmental stewardship, and inspire the next generation of gardeners, farmers, and conservation leaders.
This donation to Cultivating Inclusion is one example of how we strive to put our values into action supporting projects that cultivate both healthy landscapes and stronger communities.

Cultivating Inclusion: Growing Opportunity for Everyone
The organization was created to provide a welcoming environment where individuals of all abilities can experience the physical, emotional, educational, and social benefits of gardening. Through accessible farming, therapeutic gardening, volunteer opportunities, and educational programming, Cultivating Inclusion removes barriers that often prevent individuals with disabilities and diverse abilities from participating in meaningful outdoor experiences.
Their farm serves as a place where people build confidence, develop practical skills, create friendships, and discover the joy that comes from nurturing something from seed to harvest.
Every raised bed, pathway, and planting area is designed with inclusion in mind, creating opportunities for community members to learn together regardless of age or ability.
When organizations invest in spaces like Cultivating Inclusion, they're investing in dignity, belonging, and lifelong learning.
A Partnership That Creates Lasting Impact
This collaboration demonstrates what is possible when businesses and nonprofit organizations unite around a common purpose.
- LGM Soil Amendments provides the resources needed to establish healthy growing environments.
- Cultivating Inclusion creates an accessible place where every individual has the opportunity to learn, participate, and thrive.
- Roots of Conucos brings together volunteers, educational programming, agricultural expertise, and community partnerships that expand the reach and long-term impact of these efforts.
Together, these organizations are helping create more than productive gardens. They are cultivating stronger relationships, expanding educational opportunities, encouraging environmental responsibility, and building a more resilient community for future generations.
Roots of Conucos: Building Community Through Agriculture
Supporting this initiative is Roots of Conucos, a nonprofit organization founded on the belief that agriculture has the power to transform lives. They are connecting the dots and closing the gaps.
Roots of Conucos exists to reconnect people with the land while creating opportunities for education, workforce development, and community engagement. The organization works alongside schools, libraries, nonprofits, businesses, and volunteers to expand agricultural knowledge and strengthen local food systems.
Its programs help empower:
Rather than working alone, Roots of Conucos believes collaboration is the key to lasting impact. By connecting nonprofits, businesses, educators, and volunteers, the organization creates opportunities that benefit the entire community.
Looking Ahead
Healthy soil produces healthy plants. Healthy plants nourish healthy people. And healthy communities are built when organizations invest in one another.
This partnership is a reminder that meaningful change often begins with small acts of generosity. One donation of soil becomes a season of learning. One volunteer event becomes a lifelong passion for agriculture. One collaborative project becomes a model for how businesses and nonprofits can work together to create lasting change.
LGM Soil Amendments is proud to support organizations like Cultivating Inclusion and Roots of Conucos and looks forward to continuing partnerships that enrich our communities, protect our environment, and inspire future generations to grow, together.
Because when we invest in the ground beneath our feet, we're also investing in the people who will shape tomorrow.
